Fitness Fridays at The Veranda
On select Friday mornings, The Veranda offers a free Fitness Friday Class. The mall’s exercise studio will be bringing Zumba to the Park on the Veranda property, and all ages and fitness levels are welcome! What a way to kick your weekend off right!
Celebrating 38 years in Concord, Dance Connection is home to the mini 2-3-year-old ballerinas and some of the top pre-professional, all-around dancers in the nation. In addition, they offer boys-only lessons, ballroom dancing and adult fitness. If your heart wants to dance rather than sing, this is the place for you.
Founded in 1963, CAA is the oldest art association in Contra Costa County. Members are artists, art students, supporters of the arts and residents of the greater Concord, California area with little or no artistic experience. But take a break from exercising your body and fill your spirit with the offerings of this venerable group. This summer, they will visit a variety of beautiful outdoor spots throughout the Bay Area for painting, sketching and photography.
